Alongside its SARMs, Chemyo stocks a range of compounds studied in cognitive and neuroscience research, often called nootropics. They are a mixed group: some were registered medicines in Russia, some reached human trials and were dropped, and others have only ever been tested in rodents. This guide sorts them by mechanism and research stage so you can see how they relate.
Dopaminergic and “actoprotector” compounds
Bromantane is an adamantane derivative registered in Russia as Ladasten. It is described as an actoprotector with combined stimulant and anxiolytic activity, linked in studies to increased tyrosine hydroxylase expression and dopamine synthesis. Chemyo stocks it as a 50 mg/ml solution, and searches to buy bromantane lead to that reference page.
9-ME-BC (9-methyl-β-carboline) is a β-carboline that, unlike most of its relatives, supported dopaminergic neurons in cell-culture studies. It is purely pre-clinical and is supplied as a 500 mg 9-ME-BC powder.
Glutamatergic and cholinergic compounds
Noopept (omberacetam) is a dipeptide-derived compound developed in Russia and metabolised to cycloprolylglycine. It is available as a Noopept solution and a Noopept powder.
Sunifiram (DM-235) and unifiram (DM-232) are piperazine compounds from the University of Florence that were very potent in rodent memory tests and were linked to AMPA receptor activity and acetylcholine release. Neither has been tested in humans.
Coluracetam (MKC-231) was reported to enhance high-affinity choline uptake, the rate-limiting step in acetylcholine synthesis, and reached a phase 2 trial in depression with anxiety.
Neurogenesis research: NSI-189
NSI-189 was developed by Neuralstem as a compound that stimulated neurogenesis in the hippocampus in pre-clinical work, and it was tested in phase 1 and phase 2 trials in major depressive disorder. Chemyo stocks two forms: the NSI-189 phosphate powder and the NSI-189 free base powder. The phosphate is a salt form; the free base is the unmodified molecule, so the two differ in molar mass and solubility.
Supporting compounds
- CDP-choline (citicoline): a choline donor and phospholipid precursor that is widely used in research on cholinergic function.
- Vinpocetine: a synthetic derivative of the periwinkle alkaloid vincamine, studied for cerebral blood flow and PDE1 inhibition.
- Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN): an NAD+ precursor used in metabolic and ageing research, often alongside 5-Amino-1MQ.

Quality documentation
As with the SARM range, each nootropic lot is tested for identity and purity, and solutions for concentration. The results are in the lab reports library. For handling and storage, see how to store research compounds. You can browse the whole range under research powders.
